Thing #23 The End

I enjoyed this learning experience and will continue to keep up with my blog site and to keep it updated. I had trouble with some of the podcasts, I couldn't hear them or they wouldn't play. I was able to get help from my co-workers and that helped me alot. There is so much technology out and it's changing everyday, it is good to be kept up to date about it.

Thing #2- 71/2 habits of highly successful learners

I listened to the video and I decided that I would like to make learning about technology to be my number one priorty. I will continue to read books also.

Thing #22- 2.0 post on E-Books

I went to shopping and commercial. They had an alphabetical list of databases that you can access from the library or home/remote access. I browsed some databases. When I get my MP3 player I will download some interesting books.

Thing #21 Podcasts

I went to Podcast.net and viewed some Podcasts and looked at the possible sites to view them.

Thing #20 Videos

I went to YouTube and and looked at their videos. I may upload one for my site. There are so many videos to see.

Thing#19 WeB 2.0 awards list

I like Library Thing and I subscribed to it and tagged the books I liked and I am able to share them with others. I think this would be useful to the library and it's patrons.

Thing #18 Online Application and Tools

I have worked with GoogleDocs. and I think it is a good way to share documents and to edit them. ZohoWriter is useful also. Anything is possible.

Thing #17 Sandbox WiKi

I logged onto this site and added an entry about my favorite books. It was full of sites to explore and comments.

Thing #16 WiKi

I gained knowledge from visiting Wiki and what I would create my Wiki on would be on Education in different subject areas for all students, to obtain or to find a link to whatever information they needed.

Thing# 15 WEB2.0 and Library 2.0

I read the information about perspectives on WEb 2.0 , and library 2.0 and the future of the libraries. It was very informative, the future will probably change the library as we know it today into a virtual studio, with integrating collections of services into one big consumer web space. Books may become obsolete, and all the information will be on one big site or several sites. Libraries could charge to download books to virtual members.

I went to the Shifted Librarian website and entered it onto my blog. I was an informative site with lots of possible places to obtain information.

Thing #7 Technology related post

I posted technology news about the I phone. I did not subscribe to site because it wanted a credit card number.

Thing #6 Flickr fun and mashups

I viewed some Flickr mashups and downloaded a picture to my blog page.Discovering mashups was interesting.

I went to explore Flickr and posted a picture on my blog. This site has many pictures to offer.

thing10 Online Image Generator

I played with a image generator of a hershey bar I could create myself. I looked good.

Thing # 8- Learning about bloglines

I subscribed to Shifted Librarian and am getting the feeds with my bloglines account.

The new I phone is a cool gadget according to users, it's easy to navigate and send e-mails. You can take pictures and send them to a e-mail address in a matter of minutes. Surfing the web is simple also. Because it's easy to use you will find yourself using it.You will be more productive; and you will communicate more efficiently and effectively than you have ever done with any other phone.
